First Class Details

Hello future Crisis Mappers!

It was fantastic to meet most of you at the information session last week, and we are looking forward to our first class on Tuesday. Note the room change to East 016.

Please come to class prepared to discuss the readings for the first class.  These readings can be found on the class web site, under “Course Information” –> “Class 1”.  You should have already received an email with login information for accessing the protected areas. If you did not receive this, please email Roz for help. You will need to change your password immediately upon logging in for the first time.

Note that all assignments listed under class 1 on the website are to be completed for class 1.  For this Tuesday, you are required only to complete the reading, and a brief online survey that we will send around later this weekend.  Please look out for this and complete it no later than Tuesday at noon.

Finally, take a look at this brief video about the Ushahidi Haiti initiative that happened last year at this time at Tufts:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huQpn0D0eK4
